Campbell injured his shoulder on representative duties during Riverina League’s loss to Hume League last Saturday.
But the good news for Tigers supporters is that key recruit Dale Walker will come in for his first game for the club against Narrandera.
Campbell hopes to only miss a couple of weeks.
“It’s alright I guess, it came in and out,” Campbell said of his shoulder.
“I’ll probably miss two or three weeks. I’ll do some strengthening work and be back up and about.”
Walker will slot into centre-half-back, pushing John Anstee to full-back.
Walker, who was recruited from Ainslie, broke his hand in a pre-season trial against MCUE.
