“Their strikers are very quick and very dangerous,” Tolland coach Dave Antill said.

“Hopefully our young blokes will keep up with them.”

Both sides are fit having run down the opposition in the closing minutes of games in recent weeks.

However Tolland, in top spot, are far from singing their own praises.

“We have a very young side; we are still learning the game,” Antill said.

“This is a long-term plan for us.

“It’s more about developing these players to play consistently through the whole season.”

Winning isn’t everything to Antill.

“We want to continue improving and play some consistent, competitive football, that’s all we’re worried about,” Antill said.

Four rounds in, without any major injuries, Tolland are the only remaining undefeated team of the competition and South Wagga coach Andrew Hull believes his squad is capable of changing that.

“They have some very good attacking weapons we’ll have to keep an eye on,” Antill said.

With all of his players available for the clash, including strong defenders in Jason Cuttle and captain Richard Skidmore, it should be an evenly-matched game. 

Tolland have let in just four goals, South Wagga have let in five, but a couple of the Warriors’ defenders will sit out, suspended from play.

South Wagga’s Bai Fahnbulleh and Prince Thompson will return after a one-week suspension.
