Prest has made big inroads since crossing to the professional riding ranks and the Town Plate will be the third $100,000 race she has ridden in over the past three months.
She rode Sky Cruiser in the SDRA Country Championship Heat and then grabbed a fourth placing in the Pioneer Sprint at Alice Springs last weekend.
Prest has never ridden the Jim Scobie-trained Zero To Ten but is excited to take part in the feature sprint.
“It’s a very big thrill, it will be one of the biggest races I’ve ridden in,” Prest said.
“I don’t know the horse very well but I’ve noticed his runs, he’s very versatile and has good second up form.”
Prest has three rides on Town Plate day and is in-form after winning a $25,000 race at Alice Springs last weekend.
