With a strong back line and continued attack Junee’s win could have been even more potent.
However two of its most experienced players were injured in the second half.
Lincoln Weir had scored a goal, but came off with an injured back 55 minutes in after a hard tackle. Travis Weir set up a number of opportunities and was stopped short with 15 minutes to go having injured his ankle and shin.
Nick Jones was crucial upfront with three goals and Kurt Tinnock, Braiden Phillipse, and Ethan Sainsbury also scored.
The Weirs will rest this week with plans to return and play Young at Gus Smith Oval on Sunday at 3pm.
