More than 60 musicians volunteered their time for the inaugural Wagga International Jazz Day celebrations at the weekend.
Organisers were impressed with the more than 220 people who attended the evening program and the 40 people who watched the school bands in the afternoon.
“We were very pleased with how it went,” organiser Jean Haste said.
“There weren’t too many spare seats left.”
Ms Haste said it looked positive another event will be held in 2017.
“I sincerely hope so,” she said.
“I’m sure it will be the intention of the committee.”
