The three-year-old filly was placed in her first two starts before finishing down the track at Coolamon on Monday.
However, she was back to her best to lead all the way in Harness Bredders NSW Princess Series (1755m).
Marrar trainer Andrew Roberts thought the draw made all the difference after being held up last time.
“She has always been a nice horse,” Roberts said.
“She needed luck (and the draw) made the difference.”
Roberts was left disappointed after a draw change meant the daughter of Mister Big had to start off the second row at Coolamon last time out and she wasn’t tested in the run.
It was the first win for Roberts in just over a year.
Meanwhile, the patience of owner Allan Jones paid off with Roughasdiamonds bringing up his first win as a seven-year-old.
After having two years off with a bowed tendon and being “forgotten” in the paddock, the gelding made his debut in February but scored a surprise for trainer Ray Turner.
Both horses were driven by Mal Diebert.
Yanco trainer Shane Hillier took out honours on the 10-race card, scoring wins with Chucky Balboa, Doctor Feld and Corrinyah Conman.
