Meg Green, who is also national president, will join about 30 Wagga district widows at the lunch, to be held at the Wagga RSL Club from noon.
The average age of guild members is 88, but it has members whose husbands were killed in battle as recently as the Afghanistan conflict.
“Our aim is to support war widows and to enable them to support themselves,” said spokeswoman Lesley Mann.
“Without the guild, these widows would not have the benefits they have today.”
