The Great Moscow Circus ringmaster comes from six generations of circus performers, with a contortionist father and trapeze mother, and is now on his third tour with the circus, which has sent up camp in Wagga.
After performing two shows in front of awed locals, Mr Nino said it was the crowd’s excitement that made him so passionate about his job.
“It’s amazing to share the show with Wagga. The atmosphere has been incredible and every show is different.”
Though the circus might seem like a novel profession to some, Mr Nino said it was something that ran in his blood.
“I love following in my parents footsteps and am proud to honour their name under the big top,” he said.
