The forum – aimed to tackle the incidences of stock theft and trespass – will be at the Wagga RSL Club from 7:30pm on Thursday, April, 28.
It is part of a wider investigation into poaching and illegal hunting in NSW.
NSW Farmers, Wagga district branch chairman Alan Brown said it was an opportunity to talk about how rural crime affects the region.
Former NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Stephen Bradshaw was appointed by deputy premier and minister for justice and police Troy Grant to lead the review, on behalf of the Rural Crime Advisory Group.
“So much rural crime goes unreported and some members consider the penalties - such as for illegal hunting - are not a deterrent,” he said.
