Producers have started dry sowing crops, which need to be planted early, and livestock producers sold a whopping 53,150 sheep and lambs at the Wagga Livestock Marketing Centre this week.
Maurie O'Hare, "Kelvin Grove", Mirrool sold heavy lambs for $147.20 and said conditions were dry and farmers were waiting for much-needed rain.
