Thousands are expected to descend on the picturesque town of Tumbarumba this weekend for the town’s biggest annual event, Tumbafest.

Now in its 19th year, the event is expected to draw around 4000 people.
Narelle Potts, one of the festival coordinators, said there will be huge amount number of stall holders with a “bumper year” expected.
“It’s going to be a cracker of a weekend with the weather shaping up to be great,” Mrs Potts said.
This year’s event will see a mural painted during the event.
Two art students will paint the mural during the weekend which will be a feature of the event in the future.
The popular duck races will again be a feature with one race on both Saturday and Sunday.
Alive and Cooking star James Reeson will also be running cooking demonstrations on both days.
