In a low-scoring Kiwi innings marked by safe hands from the Australians, Usman Khawaja's fingertip control on the boundary was the pick of the bunch.

Khawaja was deep at long on when Trent Boult - in a big hitting mood with three sixes to his name - tried to get under a Nathan Lyon delivery, but found Khawaja  dangerously near the boundary rope.

The Australian first drop who has found a purple patch of runs in the shorter forms of the game, then let his hands do the talking.

Khawaja caught the ball with one eye on the boundary before quickly flicking it high and forward. He stepped over the line empty handed before jumping back into the field of play to seal the catch.

After a video review, Boult was sent packing for 24 off 22 balls and the Kiwis were all out for 183. All 10 New Zealand first innings wickets were from catches.
