The Great Merlin, the late Bill Rawle, was a renowned hypnotist and his son is following in his footsteps.
“I got a kick out of being in dad’s shows,” he said.
“We’d get in the combi van and off we go to some town we never heard of.”
Mr Rawle returned to Wagga yesterday to perform at his dad’s old stomping ground, the PCYC, for a hypnotherapy charity event for Wagga Takes 2 on Saturday night.
“I never took the leap of faith, until he passed away,” he said.
“It was kind of an ode to dad that I did a show.
“One day it would be pretty cool to think if my kids saw me do a show, then years down the track we might have a third generation hypnotist.”
