Kahlefeldt and fiancé Radka Vodickova will make a guest appearance at Sunday’s Temora Running and Multisport Club Triathlon.
Kahlefeldt’s return to Temora has been boosted by the likelihood that Noble will also race on Sunday.
He is home in Ganmain at the moment and took out last Sunday’s Ganmain Triathlon sprint even by a whopping five minutes.
Kahlefeldt has done some work with Noble during his younger years and is looking forward to racing with him on Sunday.
“I'm looking forward to racing some strong guys in Temora,” Kahlefeldt said.
“I've known Caleb for a while and he has a huge amount of potential especially racing short course and he's in some good form.”
While keen to return to his birthplace, Kahlefeldt, 36, will use the event to kickstart his campaign.
“I'll still be a little short on fitness for this event but training has been building up,” he said.
“Last time I was in Wagga a few weeks ago I was just coming back from my post season break and the feeling wasn't great but I'm feeling a lot stronger each week with my main race being the Ironman Asia pacific championships in Cairns in June.
“It's a long season, starting from this weekend till November-December, so you can't be in peak shape all year as its impossible to hold good form from February till December.
“But it's nice to start the season at home and I look forward to racing the young guns.”
The event is part of the Riverina Tri Series.
