Charles Sturt University (CSU) has been running a Bachelor of Business Studies program with four Chinese universities in Changchun, Yangzhou, Tianjin and Wagga’s sister city Kunming.
CSU Associate head of school (international) Tony Bush said lecturers travel to China up to four times a year.
“We’ve had more than 1000 enrolments annually over the past four years,” Mr Bush said.
More than 6500 students have graduated with a CSU degree from the program.
Professor Ge Bo from Jilin University of Finance and Economics in Changchun was in Wagga this week. She spent a semester at Wagga in 2007 and is now on exchange in Bathurst.
