Lowe will be sentenced by Judge Stephen Norrish later this week after adhering to guilty pleas on charges of supplying a prohibited drug, dealing with property suspected of being proceeds of crime and related offences.
One drug supply charge admitted by Lowe involves the supply of 46.2 grams of methamphetamine in 2014
Judge Norrish has indicated a full-time jail sentence is likely for Lowe, who is currently in residential rehabilitation and drug-free.
Lowe’s solicitor, David Barron, asked Judge Norrish to take into account the five months Lowe has been in rehabilitation and the 18 weeks he served on remand when framing a sentence.
From the witness box, Lowe said he felt guilty about the damage he had caused to the lives of the people to whom he had sold drugs.
He said he saw some of them when he returned to Wagga at the weekend for his court appearance.
“They look horrible, to be honest,” Lowe said.
“Seeing them gave me a sense of guilt and regret.
“I can’t help but feel responsible for their lives going down hill.”
