Shane Skeers is undergoing assessment by ambulance crews.
Superintendent Noble confirmed he is generally in good condition
10:47am:
Wagga police commander, Superintendent Bob Noble, has confirmed Mr Skeers has been found alive.
Superintendent Noble tweeted that he was found by emergency services downstream near the Murrumbidgee River.
10.30am:
A full-scale search for missing man Shane Skeers continues.
Police, State Emergency Service, Volunteer Rescue Association and paramedics are scouring the river from Wiradjuri Reserve about five kilometres downstream.
8.30am:
A MAN has gone missing after last taking a swim in the Murrumbidgee River near Wiradjuri Reserve.
Police have identified the man as Shane Skeers, 24, who family members believe went swimming about 7pm last night. The last communication with Mr Skeers was via a text message at 2pm.
He has not been seen since.
Police and other emergency services last night scoured the water, but suspended the search in poor light.
They have resumed the search this morning.
Mr Skeers is described as being of a big build, Caucasian and 195 centimetres tall.
