“You came close today,” magistrate Erin Kennedy told 28-year-old Clemson after placing him on a six-month intensive correction order in Wagga Local Court on Monday.
Clemson pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, admitting to breaking the nose of a man who pulled him off a karaoke stage after Clemson put an unwanted arm around the man’s girlfriend as she sang.
“It was a very violent attack,” Ms Kennedy said.
