What a difference a few weeks makes.
Young Issac, who will turn two in April, is battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and was admitted to the ICU after a transplant late last year.
“It was really scary and really deeply emotional,” Issac’s nan, Lisa Little, said.
Although Issac has a long road to recovery ahead, the family received good news last week when the toddler was discharged from hospital.
Issac has been staying at Ronald McDonald House in Sydney with his family and returning to hospital three days a week for check-ups and medication.
“He’s slowly getting back to his old self,” Miss Little said.
