Crouch was driving Captain Kobi for Tom Hughes when he ran into a wave of trouble after No Corsetnocaboose galloped near the 350 metre mark.
Crouch will also have MRI scans taken after complaining of back soreness.
Captain Kobi was one of three horses to lose their driver in the final race of the night with Royce Gregory-Jack and Amber Jarrott also being unseated.
After being dislodged from Strong Sensation, Albury junior driver Jarrott suffered bruising beneath both her eyes.
All other drivers and horses in the crash didn’t suffer any serious injuries.
It was a dramatic conclusion to the nine-race meeting where Wagga trainer Paul Kahlefeldt and Yanco trainer Shane Hillier shared the training honours.
Both finished with a double as Lettuce Go Pippa and Royal Shootout completed hat-tricks.
North Albury trainer Paul Brown also secured Pink Ponder’s first win at start 11.
Before joining Brown’s stable, the four-year-old mare hadn’t finished in the placings but has a win and a second from three Riverina starts.
