That perfect combination was on show on Sunday, as more than 10 dragon boating teams flocked to Lake Albert for the annual Wagga Dragon Boat Challenge.
The challenge, now in its third year, brought together hundreds of visitors from the South Coast, Dubbo and Albury areas for 24 races, with Pulmonary Hypertension Australia taking out the hotly contested community team event.
“The whole day has just gone really well,” Carusella, the event’s organiser, said.
“There have been endless opportunities to meet people and share the love of rowing. People have just come from everywhere.”
