It took Maddie Parry two years to make the three half-hour documentaries that ABC2 will start showing this Wednesday. She had a modest budget and a small production team, but that wasn't why they took so long. The problem was gaining the confidence of the people she wanted to interview, because the documentaries are about some of the most emotionally disturbing issues in modern Australia.
