The reigning premiers have experienced a winless start to the season and the task of getting back on track has been made more difficult with the loss of Taylor.
Colts learnt of the ‘suspension’ after their loss to Wagga City last round.
While no umpire has no-balled Taylor for his action, concerns have been noted in the umpire’s reports from all three matches this year.
Three different reports from umpire result in a mandatory four-week rest.
Taylor travels from West Wyalong to play with Colts and club president Brenton Crawford said their number one priority was to support the young paceman.
“We’ve got to work out the right avenue to go with him,” Crawford said.
“We’ve had Greg McLay at training this week to work with our coaches to give him some tips.
“We want to help him come up with a plan and now he won’t be able to play until Christmas that gives us some extra time to do that.”
Taylor played his first game for Colts in second grade, and then has made two appearances in first grade.
He returned 1-21 off seven overs against South Wagga and then 0-30 from 11 overs against Wagga City.
Crawford believes the action is an overreaction.
“We’re a bit confused, it’s never been talked about, he’s never been no-balled. The first game he played, something was mentioned but nothing since then,” he said.
