Mr Eldridge yesterday announced an in-depth service review would be conducted on the infrastructure services directorate.
It comes in the wake of last week’s departure of infrastructure director Heinz Kausche, who left with months remaining on his contract.
“As an organisation, we have a responsibility to our community to look at the way we do business and ensure we are operating efficiently,” Mr Eldridge said. “The outcomes of this review could mean not only significant savings for ratepayers, but improvements to service delivery.”
The review will be conducted by Freestyle Project Solutions.
