Mrs O’Brien and her husband Robert have been decorating their home on Lyndoch Place in Bourkelands for 10 years.
It all started when they were given a few lights and decorations from friends.
“It gets bigger every year and we are always adding to our collection,” Mrs O’Brien said.
“You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get involved, you can buy some quite cheap lights online, just make sure they are up to Australian Standard.”
It takes the couple a good week to get the house and other decorations ready. The lawn is covered with decorations and nativity scenes each night which have to be brought in each night.
