Matt Flynn will become the third Narrandera footballer to be drafted in the past 10 years if he is picked up on Tuesday night.
He will follow in the footsteps of Tim Ruffles (Fremantle) and Zac Williams (Greater Western Sydney).
Leeton is another town that is set to continue punching above their weight.
Having already seen Jacob Townsend and Kurt Aylett head to GWS for their inaugural year, Jacob Hopper is set to follow in their footsteps.
Coincidentally, Flynn and Hopper are great mates and went to school together at St Francis de Sales Regional College.
Both members of the Giants Academy, the pair have discussed the possibility of ending up at GWS together.
“We’ve mentioned it before actually, although he’s pretty safe, I’m not sure about me,” Flynn said.
