Just in time for Christmas, Sean will be returning to Wagga Library with a special Yuletide edition of his brilliant comedy show Kids' Party Confidential.
Sean has recently come back to Australia after performing at the world-famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
His Xmas Edition of Kids’ Party Confidential, which promises to have you rolling in the aisles, is suitable for adults and kids aged five to 13 years.
Sean will be unleashing his Christmas madness in the Children’s area of the Wagga Wagga City Library, on Saturday, December 5 at 2pm.
The performance will be subsidised by the library, ensuring that this well-traveled performer can be seen by Wagga-ites for a mere $2 – leaving you with plenty of leftover coin for the Christmas ham and pressies
Don't miss this very, very funny man, and his hilarious tales from the life a children's party entertainer.
Last time he had both adults and kids in stitches.
To book your place contact the Wagga Wagga City Library on 6926 9700 or wcl@wagga.nsw.gov.au.
Food for Fines
FOOD for Fines, the library’s annual charity drive, starts December 1 and concludes December 24.
Any member of the Riverina Regional Library with overdue fines can clear them by donating non-perishable food in lieu of money.
All collected food will be donated to the Salvation Army in Wagga, who will distribute the food to local families in need.
Around the region other various local charities will be the recipients, as nominated by their branch libraries.
This is a wonderful opportunity for customers and staff to support local charitable organisations and families during the festive season.
Products such as beans, cereals, biscuits, pasta, rice, and tinned meals are really helpful items.
Countless people have benefited from Food for Fines, now in its sixteenth year.
Through this campaign Wagga Wagga City Council can give back to the community.
By forfeiting the money from overdue fees, council is able to help families and individuals that are in need across the Christmas and New Year period.
Now is the time to return all those overdue items and clear the fines with a donation of non-perishable food.
Only overdue fines can be cleared from the member’s record.
Fees for lost/damaged items, reservations, Inter Library Loans or new card charges are not included.
We welcome everyone in the community to help support our local charities through our Food for Fines campaign.
Even if you don’t have any outstanding fines, donations of non-perishable food will still be gratefully accepted.
Simply approach our friendly library staff to make a donation.
