The young gun got to ride under lights for the first time, as part of the fifth round of the Asian Road Racing Championship at the Losail International Circuit.
Demmery’s best finish was 17th but it was the experience that he will take with him.
“Man it was hot…temperature in the sun reached 59 degrees,” Demmery said.
“We had a new colour scheme and some new parts to try, and I was keen to head out for the first time under lights. The track is amazing. It truly is a world class circuit.
“I qualified in 22nd in a huge field of riders, and managed a 17th and 19th place finish in the two races.”
Demmery is happy with his improvement.
“We improved the bike each time we went out and we have closed the gap to the front guys since the start of the year,” he said.
“The final round is at the beginning of December in Thailand, and to be honest it will be a huge stretch for us to make the grid.”
