She will play mother to almost 25 riders who will participate in the charity cycle for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
Mrs Salisbury’s son, Trevelyan Bale, is the co-founder of the ride and she has joined the team for the past five years.
She gets up early to feed the team, provides food and drinks on the ride and ensures riders are comfortable.
“It’s such a wonderful thing they do,” she said.
“It’s a very emotional but satisfying 10 days.”
Riders will travel from Brisbane to Sydney to raise money that could eventually benefit Wagga patients.
The Wagga Base Hospital has a wish list for its children’s ward with the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, which raises money for sick children in rural areas.
The foundation is also set to benefit from the Wantabadgery Picnic Races on October 17.
The 1200kms for Kids ride will leave Brisbane on October 16.
