The Tuskers take on CSU in the second tier grand final on Saturday, both coming off last start wins over the Boiled Lollies.
The Reddies haven’t lost since the competition split but Small thinks the Tuskers will offer a big test.
“I thought they played really well, stuck to their guns and are good side,” Small said.
“They are a very well coached side, they play for their coach and he asked them for a bit extra at half-time and they gave it to him in the second half.
“Credit where credit is due and they are definite contenders for the premiership in the bottom half for sure.”
