After two fine seasons at Coolamon, McGrath has decided to hang up the boots.
McGrath was rookie listed at Sydney Swans before going to enjoy a fine career at Ainslie and Tuggeranong.
He won the Hoppers’ best and fairest in both years, while travelling from Canberra.
Coolamon coach Matt Hard paid tribute to the hard-working midfielder.
“Pete’s an outstanding individual, a quality person and a quality footballer,” Hard said.
“We’re just rapt to have him at our footy club, he’s had a big impact in a short amount of time.”
