With 34 years in Lutheran schools, mostly in south-east Queensland, Mr Weier is excited about the challenges in southern NSW including maintaining’s the school’s strong values.
Mr Weier said his goals were simple, to create a safe and comfortable environment for students.
“(And) to produce confident, literate, numerate individuals who have the knowledge and skills to move on to the next level of schooling,” he said.
Mr Weier said rapid technological change was something the school had to focus on to create responsible digital citizens.
“We’re obligated to help children understand the power, to use it for good purposes and aware of their responsibilities of using it.
