The enemy shelled our Bn again with 8½ inches this morning early. They sent eighteen over of which only one failed to explode. I was innoculated again today, my arm is as sore as buggery. Later on I went down to Mac and stopped (editorial note: the next word was unreadable to the diary transcriber). While we were having tea a German aeroplane flew over and dropped a bomb. Our guns had a go at it for the first time but did not get it. It is rumoured that some Indian battalions are going to land tonight. Their staff came here today.
