Kildare beat Albury’s Xavier High School by two points in the opening game of the day before winning their remaining games to take out the title.
A 32-point win over St Francis sealed it.
Southern NSW AFL development manager Marc Geppert said it was a fitting result for the Kildare team.
“It was a great effort,” Geppert said.
“The win in that first game of the day set them up.
“They’re the best under 15 schoolboy team I’ve seen during my time at the AFL.”
In further good signs for the region, Culcairn’s Billabong High School took out the girl’s under 15 Giants Cup title.
Billabong edged out Leeton’s St Francis de Sales Regional College for the girl’s title.
“The Billabong girls did really well,” Geppert said.
