Wagga businesswoman Samantha Brunskill has helped organise a webathon to raise money for bipolar research.

The time is nearing for residents to embrace awareness for bipolar disorder.

The Embrace4Bipolar Webathon will be held at the Kildare Catholic College hall on Saturday, August 8, and has attracted a swag of talent to speak and entertain at the event.

TV personality Jessica Rowe will be making a video appearance, as well as up-and-coming indie pop songstress Cassidy-Rae Wilson.

The webathon is a modern take on the telathon – it is a internet-based platform with a gala style dinner – and will run from 7pm to 10pm raising money for the Ian Parker Bipolar Research Fund.
