Police and fire crews responded to reports that a single-storey Colorbond and vinyl cladding Tor Street home was alight about 6.50pm, after neighbours noticed smoke.
Police say no one was home at the time, but the four-bedroom house was “totally destroyed”.
It is not being treated as suspicious, but a heater is thought to have been the cause of the fire.
