Duncan produced a vintage performance to claim best-on-ground honours and lead the Swans to victory, 23.9 (147) to 11.9 (75) at Narrandera Sportsground.
Griffith led by 42 points at half-time but then Narrandera came out breathing fire and kicked the first four goals to close the margin to 18.
The Swans then got going again and finished with an eight-goal final term to win strongly.
Griffith coach Brandon Mathews was happy to get the four points.
“The boys played well,” he said.
“It was good to kick a few goals as well.
“It will help our percentage out a fair bit too.”
Apart from Duncan, Ben King continued his outstanding debut season for the Swans with a mountain of possessions, while Will Griggs was another strong performer.
