The winner is guaranteed a place in the top six and Waratahs have called up second grade halfback Matt Marshall for the game.
After initially looking to switch Euan Bonner to halfback and bring Steve Tracey from fullback to five-eighth, Waratahs captain Hugh Palmer explained the club wanted to maintain as many combinations as possible.
“We aren’t actually shuffling a huge amount,” Palmer said.
“Our back line was just starting to sing a bit and looked really good so we are trying to minimise as many changes as we can.
“We would lose the combination of Euan, Tim Corcoran and Matt Shortis in the midfield.”
As a result Tracey will remain at fullback with Guy McAlister coming in on the wing for Lamont.
With the forward pack at full strength, Palmer is expecting a big effort up front.
