Laws a national disgrace
AS OF JULY 1, due to the Border Force Act 2015, it has officially become a criminal act for those working in any capacity in Australian detention centres to expose any abuse they may witness.

Due to this, an open letter has been written to the Abbott government by over 40 current and previous detention centre workers who will be imprisoned under this act due to being deemed a criminal for exposing the abuse of refugees.
This is a level of abuse that would send “Joe/Jill average citizen” to prison and ensure the removal of their children.
The courage of these people who have openly defied the use of the legislative process by the Australian government to silence the exposure of the consequences of their deeply disturbing policies is a shining light for social justice in this increasingly dark country.
The fact that the only way the secrecy surrounding this government’s human rights abuse can be challenged is to bring it out into the open in a courtroom by these people risking imprisonment to do so is a paradigm of the extreme lack of transparency of the Abbott government.
Legally deeming a person who exposes abuse a criminal, while legally silencing the voices of victims is a blatant abuse of power.
This is a very sick government and a desperately sad day for this country.

Tantamount to treason
FRED Goldsworthy in The Daily Advertiser of June 26 begins and ends his article by saying “Be afraid. Be very afraid”, calling the measures against terrorism “confected hysteria”.
If we Australians are to be afraid of anyone, it is the likes of you, Fred Goldsworthy, with your pussy-footing approach to terrorism. We can only be most grateful for a prime minister who does his utmost to protect us from fanatical Muslim terrorists.
To criticise him in this matter is close to treason.
Tony Abbott has the will and the vision to strive for our continued freedom and safety.
Anyone speaking up against this doesn’t deserve to be an Australian.
You may have different thoughts if one of your own loved ones would be maimed for life or killed by a Muslim terrorist.

The terrorist Trojan horse
BEFORE 1990, world capitalist conservative governments hid what they spent by declaring war on communism and Nazism.
When communism and Nazism went missing around 1990, these governments still needed to hide what they spent.
Proudly, "terrorism" was invented to fill the void that was left.
Thank God for "terrorism"!
Clever people those conservative Australians, are not they?
They always fool everyone and everything.

Still time to give

But there’s still time to give.
