Annette St Clair said success was not measured in dollar amounts but by the atmosphere created by the 220 people who attended the ball at the Kildare Hall.
Preliminary figures reveal that about $30,000 in profit was made through ticket sales and auction items.
Guest speaker Jimmy Niggles, ambassador for Beard Season, was well received by the crowd.
