Dad, Jayden, is coach of Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong and Mum, Katie, is one of the club’s gun netballers.

In a rare sporting achievement last weekend, the Kotzurs both represented Riverina in the inter-league carnival at Robertson Oval and took out their team’s best player awards.

Jayden dominated through the midfield in Riverina’s win over Tallangatta League, while Katie starred as wing defence as the netballers went down in the final to Picola.

Katie is back on the court three months after having their first child and is performing remarkably well.

“My fitness is not quite back yet,” Katie said.

With no immediate family in Wagga, juggling their first child with a busy sporting schedule is quite the task.

But they credit the people at GGGM for making it work.

“Out at Ganmain is awesome,” Katie said.

“Everyone around the club helps out.

“It’s a really good family club.

“She a good baby too so we’re pretty lucky,” Jayden added.

As for Mia’s sporting chances, Jayden was quick to point out

“Hopefully she gets more height than me,” he said with a laugh.
