The van was donated to the shed and two local businesses helped it scrub up with a fresh coat of paint and new signage.
Men’s Shed president Rick Priest said the group were “rather chuffed” about their new set of wheels.
“It looks pretty good on the road I can tell you – you can see it for miles,” Mr Priest said.
The van, which seats eight people, will primarily be used to ferry Men’s Shed members around town, as well as for pick-ups and deliveries.
"It’s big enough in the back for us to pick up things from people’s houses and things like that,” Mr Priest said.
