In only her second race as a trainer, following a third at Canberra on Monday night, Bartley led all the way on the three-year-old gelding.
Holding off Macktuckey to win by a half head, Bartley said it was a relief to come through the close finish on top.
“It was very satisfying, there is no better feeling then when all the hard work and commitment pays off,” Bartley said.
Getting a later start to her racetrack career, Bartley is quicking moving up the female harness racing ranks.
After having her first drive in September, the 21-year-old is currently seventh in the female NSW premiership with 17 wins across the state.
Bartley has three horses in work and trains alongside David Kennedy at Euroley.
“He's helped me a lot with my training and I learn something new off him every day,” Bartley said.
“He's a great mentor.”
Owned by Bartley’s sister Lisa, Lombo Workin Hands broke through for his first win at start eight.
His previous best was the third placing earlier in the week.
