One Book One Wagga will conclude in style with the three-course gala dinner attended by The Feel Good Hit of the Year author Liam Pieper.
Liam will discuss his exceptional biography, his interesting career in writing and take questions from the audience.
This event is proudly supported by Friends of the Wagga Wagga City Library and the RSL.

One week later you can join Helene Young who is one of Australia’s best rural fiction writers.
Her sixth novel, Northern Heat, blends the classic rural romance with a story of intrigue and danger.
When Helene is not writing she works as a senior pilot with QANTAS.
Wind down the week with light refreshments and wine while listening to this popular author.

Later on in the month Jacqueline Dinan will be speaking at the Wagga City Library about her latest book Between the Dances; a collection of stories about women's lives during World War II.
Come along and share Jacqueline's passion for remarkable Australian women.

Let’s Party
PIPPI Longstocking is turning 70 and the mayor is holding a party to celebrate.
You’ll be able to make your own personal badge to commemorate the occasion and eat Pippi’s favorite food, pancakes.
If you really want to get into the spirit of the event you can even dress up as Pippi.
The Swedish Ambassador Pär Ahlberger will be in attendance to provide an insight into author Astrid Lindgren and the role the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award plays in promoting children's literacy around the world.
This event is brought to you by Gateway Bookshop who are marking their 50th year as an educational bookseller in Wagga. There will be book sales, craft and afternoon tea.
The library also has some brand new republished Pippi Longstocking adventures that members can borrow on the day.
