- Wagga Police have appealed for care when letting off fire crackers during Commonwealth Day celebrations.
- Miss Leigh Townsend is pictured with Mr Doug Willers during the debutante’s waltz at last week’s Wagga Scottish Ball.
- Barry Lonsdale and Mrs Marj Cox won the centre finals of the AMF Round the World Tournament at the Wagga Bowl.
- Eight-year-old Kay Hallam took out the singles and doubles in the 10 year and under division of the Riverina Age Tennis Championships.
- The Chamber of Commerce is concerned at the “appalling” situation with receipt and delivery of parcels at Wagga Railway Station.
- More than 160 members attended the annual pony club gymkhana at the Wagga Showground.
