A name change for Wagga Base Hospital is on the cards, hospital general manager Denis Thomas has confirmed.

As part of the redevelopment, Mr Thomas said discussion was under way for a name that would better reflect the hospital’s modern services.
The Advertiser understands the hospital could be renamed “Wagga Regional Hospital”.
