Last minute reprieve for Grong Grong Public School

THE Grong Grong community have been given an 11th hour reprieve, with its beloved public school building set to stay in state hands. The school, which was controversially closed in 2013, was pegged to be listed for sale this week. Community stalwart Bob Manning said saving the building was the first step towards re-opening the school. He said numbers of potential enrolments were being collected.
