The year 12 Mater Dei Catholic College chemistry lover will fly to Canada next month.
There he will have the chance to dine with Nobel Prize winners and share Australia’s understanding of science with the world.
Jacob is one of 44 Australians attending international forums in London, Singapore, Heidelberg and Canada.
Jacob hoped the opportunity would improve his chance of gaining a science scholarship for university.
“(I love) being able to understand the world.
Jacob and six other Australian team members will set up a stall at the fair.
“We will talk generally about science in Australia and give them some general information about Australia – such as a vegemite sample.”
Jacob said the forum application process was long and intense, proving his love for and ability in the science field.
NYSF director Damien Pearce congratulated Jacob on his achievement.
