The Greens pushed the Dragons early, going into the break down 12-6, before the Dragons emerged a different team in the second half.
Coach Michael Henderson said cutting down a high error rate was the catalyst for the change.
“We made a fair few errors in the first half and to their credit they had a good crack in the first half and in the second half we came out and completed a lot better and with the weight of possession scored a few tries,” he said.
Henderson was pleased with how his team was able to step up in the second half, but knows they are in for a bigger challenge against Cootamundra on Saturday.
