Outgoing Rector of Wagga's Anglican Parish, Michael Armstrong said these were his core objectives and achievements during his five year tenure in the city.
Father Armstrong worked hard to grow and develop parish pantry and opportunity shop programs – services he believes will become more necessary.
“As governments decrease their funding – people will rely on churches,” he said.
Father Armstrong will move to Hunters Hill, to take up a role as senior minister in the Diocese of Sydney.
“I want to say thank you to the community for working closely with us in including us, and allowing to focus on social justice," Father Armstrong said.
